Fun with colors!!!(Green & Yellow)

Distress ink - Splashing of colors.

I'm really happy with the way the project has turned out.Love the vibrant ....Cool...warm ...colors.

Hoping you love them too :)

 Fun with colors

1) Spread your Wings-Fairy

Create a blended background on a manila craft tag using a variety of Distress Inks and Blending Tool...shabby shutters, Mustard Seed, peeled paint and black soot were used here.Spray water from mister into hand and flick it over inked tag. Let sit for approximately 10 seconds. Blot water with paper towel to lighten/remove ink to create color-lifted effect.Stamp Lucinda's joy image & leaf images from gina K stamps using Jet Black Archival Ink.Then color the image.Lastly highlight the wings using star dust stickles.

2) Spread your Wings-Butterflies!!!

Firstly I used fern stencil from the crafters workshop & created the texture using gesso. After it had dried completely I blended the background using a variety of Distress Inks and Blending Tool...shabby shutters, Mustard Seed, peeled paint and black soot.Spray water from mister into hand and flick it over inked tag. Let it sit for approximately 10 seconds. Then I stamped the the texture using stampers anonymous stamp.Separately color the butterflies so that it gives a 3D effect.(Butterfly clear stamp - Stampendous)

I just love the way lindys stamp gang spray works. It gives you a shading of blues & green.

In this layout i started off by using colors in equal proportions , so I have chosen the Blue/Green's as my focus colors with small amounts Green, white & back in the background.I kept using the spray till i was satisfied with the background.
